I’m Nizan, the person behind NISHAN. A filmmaker, photographer and drone artist living on Koh Phangan, Thailand.
Life through my lens
Koh Phangan is home, and a recurring part of my work. The coastline from above. A gathering by the water. People moving to music, or sharing a quiet moment together.
I move between film, photography and aerial views. My work brings together hotels and villas, local businesses, retreats, parties, portraits and proposals. Alongside those projects, I make films and photographs of the places around me.
One of those personal projects is a 14-minute film about Koh Phangan. It gives the island more time on screen, beyond the short moments I share on Instagram.
NISHAN — Emotional Cinematic Vision — is the name I create under. For me, the story lives in the way a place moves, the people in it and the feeling a frame leaves behind.
